During the SP (ahh... single player) campaign... You must already know that you've got a chance between each mission to run around a bit... However, you can't go all that far before your either A) stopped because you're too weak to survive any further... or you've made too much money and now have to start the next mission.

Well, in either case, I'd hold onto that little fighter for as long as you can, accumulating more and more money, until you can buy something killer in Rheinland, or maybe Kusari... Of course... after the SP, the above definition of "killer" is actually pretty wuss-bag.

I'd go for a Heavy fighter, or a Very Heavy fighter class vehicle.

I'm on mission 5, but only my 3rd ship, a light fighter whose name escapes me, but it's not too hot (got it on New London, with Tobias' money). If I understand things right, there are but 14 missions, but a bucketload of ships - am I missing something, or will my options open up later in the game?
