the reason you hear that script is that rheinlander ships are neutral to you, except for the fancy cloaking ones.

as for the 2 ship idea, im sure that they will add a similar (if not that idea) in an expansion

I'd rather own two ships earlier on,so that if i want to trade in a transport i wouldn't have to sell my fighter.....and then buy another afterwards. Does anyone remember at the end of the single player missions when everyone's saying goodbye, Juni mentions to Trent that she was 'checking him out' in the bar on Manhattan when they met ? - I had to check this out so starting a new game i paid attention, so before they actually meet when theyre both in the bar, Juni looks over at Trent, raises her eyebrows in a look of surprise and looks back to her companion again immediately. That was her 'checking him out'? ! It was cheesy! , and what about when she slaps him! THWACK! Conflicting messages? A bit neurotic? Sound like anyone you know?

Actually what would make it better is friendlies and neutral people not attacking you unless theres a good cause. I made another thread regarding this.. strange AIs.

im not actually sure of juni checking him out.. theres virtually no time for her to check out as she was talking to that guy in the bar btw
Who in the hloy craps casino is that diplomat guy talking to trent after the sp is over what does he have to do with trent anyways..

argh.. im never gonna get paid.. goodbye a million credits..

I don't agree with the idea of owning more than one ship. Hiring a freighter would be more amazing than owning. Assigning tactics, upgrading and protecting would require more action.

Absolutely, I'm all up for hiring freighters. Maybe wingmen too.

I think it would be cool if groups that are friendly to you would randomly call you for help if you were near by, and groups that you voluntarily help out would, say thanks or something. hell, i've bailed out tons of ships that were getting thier butts torn apart.

that would be great; neutral/friendly ships could send out distres signals. If you respond, and manage to save them your rep could increase with that faction.

Not to mention hiring wingmen would really help things out too, or getting a robot and shoving it into a craft and getting like 10 of them in some small fighter with good firepower. Bwahaha

What would make sense would be if Trent could fly to Tobias's shipyard and leave one or more ships there. Of course, that leaves Trent with the problem of getting somewhere else again. But it would be a way he could maintain more than one ship at any rate.

hey, when will people stop stealing my name

I think the multi player and single player games should judge difficulty and A.I. on the amont of money and type of ship/weapons you have...then it would make the game all the more interesting as no one can breeze through space...(hmm)
