Can someone help me get out of liberty

Im a n00b on this game and running a server and seem to be in the liberty regions but how can i travel out to the other systems? It wont let me just fly out, some sort of jump gate near planet manhattan? Can someone help me with its position or how they work. I really have no idea. thanks in adv

You have to unlock the gates in single player, then you can use them in multi. So play the single player story line until you get the gate access.

Cool thanks. I didnt think the single player mode would have any bearing on the dedicated server i run. Seeing as i had to set up a new char when i joined the server.

Umm Pinger, thats not true.
I played MP b4 i played SP, and umm everything was unlocked. Myabe you need to increase your lvls b4 they get unlocked. Or maybe he just doesnt know how to get out of liberty.. could that be it?
