Answer: Don't. Get a 10 year old sibling. Teach him basic commands to dock, buy-sell the cargo and select target as well as interacting with the nav map. Ask him to wake you up if he encounters enemy. Takes only 15 minutes to teach him this.

I did that while I was in Kusari. There's no enemy there hence it's just a simple dock sell, buy, dock sell buy. I slept for a good hour and my lil cousin earned around a few hundred Ks.

I guess I'm just easily amused. I haven't gotten bored yet by going into 'turret' view mode and enjoying the scenery. Occasionally I'll hail passing ships just to see what they're carrying and where they're going. If it's not a region I've travelled alot sometimes I'll get an idea about a new wormhole or base - I'll just divert and tag along with the group I'm curious about.

Yeah, I can see that getting old eventually but it works for now.

I've tried trading and it was really boring on the trade routes so heres my solution.
Buy a ship with a large cargo bay and sit buy a jump gate when a ship comes into view scan it. If you like what you see. blow it up and take the cargo. Much quicker than trading let others bring it to you. Doing this you also get to say AAAAAAAARRRRRRR me hearties a lot.

heh, sounds about rite, wus fun is gettin the lib dreadnaght mod and creating chaos with your invincible hull and powerful guns, take down defenders wit two shots, but u can't dock and u cant use trade lanes, but usin yer cruisers is jus as fun.
