After you''ve done everything>

What is there to do when you have done everything? I mean seriously. I went to the planet of the apes and the robots, got some funny screenies and stuff killed a load of nomads got at least 6 cannons and 3 blasters..

I had a titan sold it coz i thought that it was too slow turning, got a sabre, same problem, got an eagle and thought hey what a good ship... Went to some random planet.. Planet Malta, got as many corsairs on me as i could (Titans), at least 10 i would say, and i killed them all without using 1 shield battery? i mean seriously what do you do after you're so good that nothing poses a threat? and u've explored everywhere..

Edit - One more thing, is there a first player view?? i saw someone in a battlecruiseer in 1st person? whats the control for that?

whats left to do after youv'e done everything.... kind of an oxymoron isn't it? as for first person view? ctrl v, same as it says in the manual

If I had a nickel for every time someone told me that my idea of building a giant robotic parrot out of melted down coins was a bad idea, I would have one kick a$$ giant robotic parrot.

Done everything? i dont think so. Make waypoints that go through every single sector in every single system. Then of course you can take a course in computer stuff and mod the game to your liking, you can change factions and kill all the liberty people (or anyone for that matter). Why dont you try making everyone your ENEMY? cant go anywhere, do anything if your everyones enemy.

Not to be too picky, but Malta is an Outcast planet, not Corsair. Crete is the Corsair planet. But like I said, maybe I'm just splitting hairs. ;-)

Seriously though, after beating the SP game campaign and exploring all you can, go MP. Always an experience playing against people instead of AI.

alt-F4 unlocks the hidden sectors and you can buy a ship called the shafter

If you have seen and done everything then perhaps you can tell us this.

How many (total), jump holes are there?
How many "wrecks" have you found?
How many unusual, weapons have you tried? (Corsairs, Red Hessiens, etc)
How many hidden planets are there?
What are the best trade routes with the fewest jumps and highest profits?
(using both trade lanes and jump holes or all jump holes my fave)
Are you friendly with ALL or are ALL an enemy?
Did you try playing the SP again with a weaker ship? (Try a freighter!)
Try the MP ( DO Watch out for those that use MODS in MP they are real Slayers!)
Try the SP game while becoming an enemy of Liberty before they actually want you too!
Oh well these are just some ideas, not to be confused with nothing left to do.

Just some observations from the edge of space!

all the news that no one reads

Well, my 8 year old son has not done everything. But he has decided to break with Juni and stay on level 11. His idea of fun:
Go into Liberty space (very hostile at level 11) in a Clydesdale freighter without nanobots or shield batteries and blast all the storage depots outside Manhattan. If he needs a shield battery or a nanobot, he takes it from an oncoming police patrol.

His relationship with Outcasts has gone from very hostile to very friendly.

My own idea of fun after level 38:
Buy a Dromedary and take 100K missions for Corsairs.

Ctrl-V changes to FP view.

Wat the....???

I mean, play the game as you enjoy it. If you think you have had enough, then stop and play something else! Whats the point of knowing every minute details about the game? Why do you need to know the name and coordinates of every jump holes? Does THAT enrich your life? I don't know....maybe someone enjoy doing such things.

No offense, but i think someone who are so obsess seriously needs to get a life.

I agree with the MP suggestion though.

Those all sound like great suggestions. I agree that with a linear storyline the SP game has limited replay if you stick to the script and afterward have done all that you want.

My personal favorite of the suggestions is to try the storyline in a weaker ship and see if it is still as easy.

I tried getting a Dromedary and doing Cardemine runs, but everyone who was friendly starting shooting at me...

Vancolver : I see your point about getting too obsessed, but what are you doing on this forum If you think doing that kind of stuff means you need to 'get a life' you are telling alot of people on this site that

Check out all the posts on hidden jumpholes, planet whether you can get all red or green reps. Its not like doing all these things takes that long, especially if you pick up pointers here. There is no harm in playing a game till you have discovered all its secrets. Thats what they are there for.

I think the point is simply to *play* the game. When you are done playing, it is time to move on.

After all, it is just a game
