Orbital Bombardment

Playing the other day Reynen's MOD BETA 3 (COPYRIGHT). I was using the liberty dreadnought (battleship) and I noticed i had 5 torp. launchers equiped and i am like hey what if i shoot the planet (maine at the time). So i fire all of
the torps. and they shoot out really fast i am like wow. they disapperar for a second and then hit the planet making an hugh exploison like a nuke!!!!( the explosion was about 1/10th the area of the planet pretty damn big if u ask me).

Totally awsome. So maybe some one could make an mod to blow up those usless planets.

I take a screen shot if i can figure out how does anyone know?

Takeing screen shots is simple. The print screen button takes a snapshot of the game. I think it's default. It's next to the Scroll lock key.

These shot were taken while running Reynen's MOD BETA 3. (nice radioactive glow on the second one. Hey i just though of something you know how on pittsburg there are those green smoke stacks well maybe i nuked that base (i know without a doubt i didn't but a guy can dream can't he.)

OK, maybe we should just post a sticky topic or something about this, because there are wayyyy too many people asking this dumb question.

Anyway, to take a screenie, hit prtscr, then look in your my documents\my picture\freelancer shots folder. They'll all be there.

modding a game to destroy planets is going a bit too far... if you ask me, in my opinion modding Freelancer is kind of useless why would someone do it? sure to destroy a base it's fun, but then u figure out you want it back and.... messes up the server...
anyhow just my opinion on that....

But it would still be kinda fun, but I have to reluctantly agree.
About those explosions, the first one looked like a torp explosion, but the second one definantly wasnt normal

Mods are very fun... And I don't see the point to blowing up planets and having them never come back in my opinion.
