I know DA have said this very same thing (probably their excuse for not completing the joining faction part of the game lol) As a Freelancer, you should be 'free' to do what you want, even if that means joining a faction.. IMO.

i got the anubis cuz its part of the mod of the server i play on, tho the mod does nothing to tags or stuff
