it's in Omnicron Alpha in the upper regions of Kusari. You can get there two ways.

1. Going from sigma 19, fly into the dark green gassy area on the top right of your map and into the Omnicron Beta Jump Hole (it should be near the bottom edge before the planets), then from there just go straight up towards the top of the map until you see the Omicron Alpha jump hole.

2. From Tau 37, in the bottom area of the top gray gassy area, there's a jump hole there.

Once you're in Omnicron Alpha, just fly towards those Unknown planets, one of them is Malta.

If yer having trouble finding anything, go to your neural net, and look for patrols that end in the middle of nowhere and set a waypoint there... 9 out of 10 times it's the location of a jump hole, base, wreck, or planet.

Make sure you're at least Neutral with the outcasts or prepare for hell

Ask such things in the spoiler section next time will ya? No hard feelings, but some peeps hate to read about things they want to discover by themselves.
