Add-On?

Is there any word yet on a patch or possible add-on?

I really enjoyed the game but would really like them to take a long hard look at the incredible potential they hardly scratched with Freelancer.

I have the feeling that we'll see an official expansion pack at some point. Freelancer as it currently stands has real potential for that.

Rumor is that they're working on a server patch right now for MP gaming, not sure about a true game patch, but it would be following that I'm assuming or all in one package at the same time.

Yeah, I'm hoping that there will be an expansion as well, but we will have to wait and see on that one...

There WILL be an expansion pack. They already announced it.

From what I know, it will have new ships & systems
and more variety in missions.

Those are the things I can remember from the newspost that was on the main page a couple of weeks ago.

When can we see it in the shops?

December 2003.
