I am running it on a P3 500MH with 256 RAM and a SAVAGE 4 graphics card. also don't have mutch trouble... In ice fields it gets alittle bogged down but not severe enough to screw up the game. The only real problem I have is MP, even with cable its too laggy to play. but sence I only tried this a couple of times, it could be the servers I am joining.

Yeah the only real major problem with the game is coming out of jump gates and jump holes. The problem with that is that it doesn't cache it before you come out so it is processing it. Microsoft doesn't think now do they

Whats the point if it runs the game then the machine is fine

I was planning on upgrading for this game but when I got it and it ran everything full steam without a hitch I dedcided to wait another 6 months to get a better machine for Doom 3.

Yeah Doom 3 i got the Alpha Leak Demo, let me tell you with the latest video card it would still skip. I managed to run the script to turn the graphics to medium but i still skipped like a bitch. I hope they take care of that problem

it only costed me $500 for a pentium 4 2Ghz, 256MB, CD/RW....and I bought a G-Force 2 just to get by until I save up for something in the $150 range....like maybe a G-Force 4 ti or something.

Man it sounds like it is time to buy an upgrade for my system. AMD 750 overclocked with an AGP 5500 4 chip 3d card and 512k ram.

LOL!! ha ha I played this game on a 266 mhz machine with 64 mb ram, voodo 3 of course it's turned all the way down, but it is playable, but it skipsike a dog during jumps, and heavy heavy combat/graphic intense scenes, like the last part of the story line. the audio skips when landing or taking off or when jumping, or heavy comm traffic. I finished the story line, and finally got a titan and now those red hessians are going to FEEL SOME PAIN!!

Just to let you know this is my cousins machine, my machine at home is runnin P3 1Gz, 256 RAM and a GForce 3. But see he is runnin a 266! You don't need a figgen upgrade to play this game.
