odd little bug

It isn't too serious, but it can be a pain...

Occasionally, a large transport will get "stuck" inside the mouth of a jump gate on final approach, blocking other traffic until it either gets un-stuck or destroyed. Obviously, this isn't a problem when there's a faster jump hole route, and you can easily shoot the transport, but it isn't exactly fun either, especially when it's a friendly ship(that you want to STAY friendly).

Also, sometimes the escorts of a ship will "miss" the gate, and need to go around for another pass, holding up the queqe further. Often the escorts of a jumped transport will sometimes hang around to fight off enemies while still in the "dock" mode. This holds up traffic because the gate won't accept another ship until they are dead or docked(which means you either have to engage the enemies as well or find the offenders and kill them.

I'll bet this has all been reported already, but it's free period and I don't have anything better to do. I just hope they fix the AIs when the patch comes out, because traffic jams are not among the most fun things in a space game.

try this, turn on thrusters, head towards gate and click on the transport, when ur inside the gate fress F4 and you'll go thru, sometimes you come out with thrusters still going
