slow in gameplay

i dunno if u guys have this problem.... and ive been trying to fix this up... but when i play freelancer, it's very slow, as in the menu comes up slow, the cinematics- they walk like snails pace, and they talk b4 the mouth moves. In gameplay, it travels very very very slow, as in it takes bout 4 mins on trade lane, from planet pittsburgh to fort bush!!!

PS: i have an AMD 1800XP+, 512 ram, Geforce 4.. i dont think its any problem

The only way i can make this fast is by going to multiplayer and go back to the main menu and then load game...

Anyway i can fix this problem permanently,....

First I've heard of this one. Try updating drivers maybe?
