Fun with JUNKERS

you know the junkers and how horrible their CSV's are...well I flew out to omega 31, or whatever that old battle site between rhineland and liberty was in the blue cloud, Anyways theres a junker base there with SWARMS of csv's and they are always carrying expensive cargo, and they always come out of the base with expensive cargos like cardamine, or optronics or optical chips or lux. consumer goods, its pretty tight and certainly beats trade runs for me, its over near new berlin, check it out its a gold mine. I have to sit there and constantly drop cargo because I'll nail a csv carrying like 2999 cardamine or artifacts or something..its nuts, the screen is filled with loot after cruising around for 5 minutes

I guess you're referring to Yanagi Depot in Sigma -13. The Junker CSVs are like a transport and escort ship rolled into one. But, like transports, they only leave behind a relatively small amount of their loads when they're killed; 100-200 units, or so... a tiny fraction of the insane number of units a cargo scan shows.

But really, what good would it do for a train to drop all 800 000 of its crates of diamonds, or whatever? I mean, sure, if they all stayed there you could spend a week ferrying them to a base and selling them and be frickin rich, but since they disappear when you leave anyway...

When I get annoyed at something, I go to a Junkers base and blast a few dozen of their ships. It's great, they hardly hurt me, and nobody else cares how many of them die.
I do it with Zenos too sometimes, but their little Startrackers are harder to hit.
