Where do I find a MP trainer?

I don't like to use trainers, but after I've been on SO MANY SERVERS that CRASH ALL THE TIME, and having to start A NEW GAME ALL THE TIME, is quite bothering me allot. And I don't want to cheat allot, just give myself the full map in a few systems and a little spending cash...

I know it defeats the purpose of the game... but I am tired of New York, and I haven't been to very many Border World Systems and I want to explore them all...

Is there anyone who can help me?

try format c:

Or you could just download datastorm which is a exe map

Asking for cheats on this board will get you no answers.

Well, I hope I don't make you mad... but I don't think using a trainer in MP is a good idea. I understand that the servers aren't working out for you, but I honestly don't think it will be fair to everyone else... and besides, if you can only play for a few moments at a time, maybe you should consider running your own server instead...

Just find the program called FLserver.exe, located on your hardrive (typically c:\program files\microsoft games\freelancer\exe\flserver.exe), and run it. Pick a name for it and make sure the option is not checked to list your server on the internet. Keep that program running and run the regular freelancer program. Then select your server on the "LAN" option and play in your own MP universe, albeit with no other players... but hey, it will be stable! Just a thought.

Yea, I knew about the format c: thing, I'm not a complete idiot, but I though that the other thing he was talking about was true... and I don't think running a Freelancer server on my 56.6K Dial-up modem is a good idea, that may just be me though...

sigh, your a eral ass, going around asking how to CHEAT, no, you fool, we wont give you an unfair edge just because the games to hard for you, deal with it..

forgive me if i am totally wrong, but having a dial up modem has nothing to do with speed if you are playing on your own server. Run the server exe and then run your game exe. Connect to your own "server" and explore all you want (on your own).

Your MODEM speed doesn't effect your LAN speed, especially if you run your own server; if you are running a server on your computer, and playing the client (the freelancer program itself) on your computer also, then there is no need to even have a MODEM or be anywhere near a phone jack/internet in order to run it. Give the server thing a try, it might be a good solution.

Also, Xerx has been working on a MOD that will allow you to play an MP style game without using a server at all. That may be an even better solution when it is ready!

I just wanted something that would help me get started, cause it is a pain when you get really far and have to start all over... I've already done so many times I'll live, but it would be nice to have a little... I have an 4 year old computer that barely runs, so running my own server is out of the question... I tried, I get nearly 3 frames a second... I'm not hooked up to a LAN because this is the only computer I have, if you don't want to help me please don't post anything!!

If you post in a gaming forum asking for information on how to cheat in a multiplayer environment, you're going to take abuse. No two ways about it. You deserve the abuse and plenty of people are going to be willing to hand it out. Cope with it.
