Forgiveness from Newark?

I kinda sorta raided the supply depots near Newark Station, and now, much to my surprise , Newark won't let me land there anymore and everybody in that area is hostile toward me. My reputation is still good with the right people, and everywhere else in New York is cool with me.... how can I get Newark to forgive and forget? (so I can sell them the stuff I stole....)

Well, if I were you I would start roaming around Newark and blasting anything that is enemies with the Police/Navy factions. Rogues, Lane Hackers and so on... and Xenos of course. That should, in time, bring your Newark System Good Guys faction up a bit.

I was just trying that for a while... and I could get police guys to go from red to green that way, but once they got closer to Newark again they went back to red. I'm thinking that the cash prolly isn't worth the effort and I should just load a previous game... I didn't expect Newark to get so pissed since I didn't attack *them*......

Land on Baltimore or West Point or something then re launch and they should be nice again since your factions are still intact.

Tried that too. That's what I thought would happen, hence my surprise that Newark remained hostile.

That's not what he meant slug609. If this is a single player game, you can reload your saved game and they'll be back to whatever status they're indicated as being on the reputation window. If it's a multiplayer game, simply rejoin the server and it should be fine again.

Yeah, that's what I'll do, I was just hoping there was a solution that let me keep what I stole and sell it to Newark for a hefty sum... I guess robbing supply depots is a significantly more serious offense than robbing freighters.

I had this problem in Manhaatan. I didnt blow anything up, but I accidentally shot something I forget, I think it was either the docking ring or one of the stations orbiting and from then on everything in the Manhaatan area was hostile to me regardless of whether overall i was actaully friendly with that faction. I couldnt land on the planet or any of the bases. A serious pain I think you would agree. I eneded up just loading a previous saved game.

I have the same problem with the Pablo Station area, but forgot about it and now I cant be bothered loading a saved game from last week just to be friendly with them.

Stupid question:

How do you raid a supply Depot? I shoot at them, I destroy weapons platforms (I'm currently running the demo, plan on getting the game this weekend) and I can get absolutely zilch from them. How do you do it?

If you have the ability to...there is another way.

LEAVE THE SYSTEM...then return right away...Resets the Love/Hate relationship if your still in the green on the factions.

first go to base... then re load the game. or if in mp you should re enter the server.

in SP, do what argonus said. get out of the system.
in MP, do what everyone else has been saying, rejoin server (dont have to leaver server, just click on "select new character" and pick your character again)
