Wouldn't this world be a very boring place if everyone thought the same things and did the same things?

Once again, since when was it wrong to voice your own personal takes about the game? As far as I know, discussion about a game - whether about its strengths or its flaws - is what keeps it alive. Feedback and constructive criticism only serve to make the game better.

Nowhere do you see in my posts or in Gunblade's posts "this game sucks, you shouldn't play it". We were simply pointing out flaws in the game that we found to be obstacles. That doesn't mean we didn't have fun playing it through though.

And it's VERY possible to beat single player in less than 20 hours, granted that you don't wander off too much and stick to the main plot. I myself found that that was the best way for me to enjoy this game because the storyline was so kickass.

The best games I remember playing in the past several years are WarCraft 3, Dungeon Siege, Neverwinter Nights, and Freelancer - not because of their replayability or their multiplayer aspects, but because the single player campaigns were so well done. I found after I beat the single player portions of these games, though, that their multiplayer aspects were a bit lacking and had too many flaws for me to enjoy.

But I don't go around telling people that those games sucked because there was nothing past single player - on the contrary, I woud tell them, as I say now, that they were the best damn games I'd played in awhile - and good games are lacking these days.

Oh, and please don't assume or make such sweeping generalizations on people you don't even know. My play style is hardly to take the fastest route to the best guns in the game, or as you implied, wallhacking in CS or maphacking in RTS's. As I don't buy games much, I usually try to squeeze as much out of them as I can.

I will definitely return to FreeLancer - perhaps not in the near future - but eventually I may discover some enjoyable aspects that for now remain hidden to me. But for now, I will stick to my opinion, and you should stick to yours.

I'm sorry "uh-huh". I didn't realise that rolling you in with the "fast money" crowd was a no go. I have removed your name from my post because i realise it's out of line. I also never intended to imply that you or gunblade or anybody else map-hacks or wall hacks. My bad.

On the other hand i think that Gunblade's posts had a negative tone and that may be why other folk on the forums get shirty. Personally i think that kind of negativity is unnecessary.

I also think that your previous post is quite negative too.
let's all get together in a group hug now and read kumari's signature
