Waypoints / Trading

Is there any way to have the ship automaticly target the next waypoint in a series?

It gets a little frustrating when your on a 20 waypoint trade run.

Whats the most lucrative trade run people have found and how many planets/bases does it involve?

If you have a waypoint targeted, doesn't it automatically roll over to the next one once you reach it?

now I'm confused.

For specific trade routes go to the spoiler forum. There are lots.

a very very lucrativ trade route is from new berlin buy ENGINE COMPos fly to the SIGMA13 jump hole between berlin and brandenburg border station and sell all at YANAGI depot, now buy CARDAMINE and sell at berlin... very very lucrativ

It seems the game sets your waypoints at key junctions along the set course. If you get trade lane disrputed, your waypoints will not update as you move. If you recalcualte they will, also if you manually put in your waypoints, the ship will automatically target the next waypoint as you pass the previous one.

I think the answer to the question is No.

If, for example, you get to the end of a trade lane, and the next waypoint is at the start of another trade lane, there is no automatic way to select the new way point. i.e. assuming you get no attacks while lane-ing, you still cannot start a at way point 1, go have a smoke & a pancake and come back to find yourself at the final waypoint.

You must manually select all the way points that are beginnings of lanes, or jump gate, etc in order to complete the course.
