How to let a ship drop its cargo?

Since I only have the Demo, i've a small question.

I have been treathend by a Corsair to drop my cargo, but how can i ask the same of him?

With other words, HOW CAN I GET THE CARGO OF A SHIP WITHOUT DESTROYING IT?

You can shoot the cargo containers off the bottom of trains and large transports, but there's no way to threaten NPCs to drop it. They always refuse eachother anyway.

Most of the time cargo carriers refuse to "drop it", but I've heard a few times where they must have dropped, because the pirate guy says "well, you're not as dumb as I thought you were." It may depend on how superior the pirates are, or how much backup the cargo carriers think they have.

in MP if a NPC tells you to drop it and you do what ever you. is dont tractor it back in it really ticks the pirate off i did that cause i saw the loot icon. just say i started a fire fight even funnier is the to player i was with were wondering wtf happened why they were getting attacked

hmm try that while your shields are down and don't expect to live long. Even a weak AI ship can kill you quickly with no shields.

Anyone asking me to drop my cargo gets it from me,... as soon as they turn,... they're spacedust, and i take back my cargo with some extra's!

I just ignore them most of the time. I usually get to wherever I am going before they can react anyway. Of course, if the mood strikes me I refuse and then kick some ass...
