How are the Kusari fighters

I would like to upgrade my Piranha to a more mid-level ship, and was interested in either of the Kusari fighters, the Drake or the Dragon. How does it compare to other ships in its class, such as the Barracuda, Hawk, or Wolfhound?

Well, The dragon is certainly, IMHO the coolest looking ship in the heavy fighter class, but the Barracuda gives you 5 ore units of cargo room for exactly the same price. You also might consider getting a Drone, and making some money as a merchantman and saving up for a Valkyrie becuase, unless you want to go Pirate, you can't find a better ship.

How's the "turn ratio" of the Barracuda? One thing I noticed when I upgraded my Patriot for the Piranha, it was much slower to turn. If the Barracuda's "turn ratio" is similar to the Piranha, then I may pass on this craft. I will only do occasional transport runs, so cargo space is not a priority for me.

Dragon is a cool looking ship. And it doesn't place any guns on the so-called wings so you wont lose any if you lose a wing. And it is very manuverable for a heavy fighter.

I wouldn't use it in Rheinland though. The LWB ripped me a new one when I took it there. Either go Valkyrie or Falcon in Rheinland space.
