Blinking Faction name in Status Screen(MP)?

I just wanted to know if the is any significance to this? Does it mean I am on the best of terms with the faction or what?

The faction in question is Liberty Navy and I am playing in MP, just started, still in New York. They are friendly btw... not hostile.

It means you "work" for them but it doesn't work too well since it never comes up as anyone else. If you want to get rid of it, blow up a defender or two.
