mining copper?

Is there anyplace to mine copper?

Hmm, maybe this is a spoiler... but copper isn't exactly one of the more valuable thing you can mine... Anyway, one of the asteroid clouds in Omega-7 has copper.

Hmmm....well that may be but right now I'm pretty low level and when copper goes for $400 in the Colorado system it seems like a good idea. ^_^

Silver, in the same system, goes for about $200 more each.

You can mine Silver in the Silverton Cloud in Colorado. Tricky, ain't it?

I think you can mine copper in one of the omega systems. But then, in an adjacent omega system, you can mine diamonds. So why bother?

The diamonds in Omega-11 are mentioned in some news items in certain places, but there is constant radiation damage all over those areas... there are other, safer places to mine diamonds, but I won't turn this into a spoiler by saying where.
