Woe is me. I long for a fighter, but need a freighter.

I'd love to break free from my financial need for a freighter, but I can never seem to find the independence I long for. It seems like everytime I buy a fighter, I quickly use up any money I'd put aside for repairs and upgrades, forcing me back to the trade routes in my Dromedary.

There's something else, too. In order to make my trade run, I found it helpful to make peace with all the factions I encounter. That makes my desire to be a fighter pilot a pretty boring occupation. What's a guy to do?

Make lots of money (a couple mill.) and buy a lvl 10 fighter then shoot the first thing you see... The game will soon turn "interesting" then "challenging"...

Neutrality is booooring! Get what you want from it quickly and then choose a side.

Personally i find fighters a bit on the boring side, stick with frieghters, i'd suggest buying a Humpack although they are missing 25 cargo space the more than make up for it in the weapons department
