It seems to take 1 hour when it takes a couple of hours. I guess time flys when you're having fun.

I like it because it reminds me of Elite. I just miss being able to tractor in the pilots from the ships I destroy so I can sell them into slavery on a Pirate planet/Base.

I have two theories.

1) It provides a lot of fun stuff to obsess over (exploration, ships, alliances, Juni's ass, etc.)

or

2) Pretty colors.

Im spending a LOT of time playing FL, I've had the game for six days and have already racked up 55 hrs. The thing I find is that im always getting side tracked, I always have this plan that i'll go to New Tokyo to trade some goods and then 30 minutes later i'll be flying around Omicron Theta wtih no real reason for being there.

I honestly don't know how people can dislike this game, sure it's got it's weaknesses but there has been no space game like this for a long time. I mean I-War 2 got rave reviews and in my opinion that was pretty average in comparison. Going to a new system in I War 2 was about as pointless as hacking your feet off with a rusty piece of tin.



I don't really run this place but I have an understanding with the people who do.

check this, i played for quarter of the day everyday for the past 3 days, i wan to play more, but i cant !! i got exams..

Have you guys all completed the single player missions?

I'm actually getting sort of "annoyed" with the single player missions... I just wanna go fly around and look at crap at this point! The story's great and all, but I just want to go fly off with no real direction.

I ain't complaining about the story, though... it's mad fun.

yes...addictive, I bought it last saturday at 4:35, had it installed by 5:30, played it from 5:30pm to 6:00am (yes AM) got up at 10am, played it from 10:15 (must go to bathroom sometime) to 8:30pm at which time I had to eat and then leave my one house and go to the other that has a computer that doesnt run FL..now I am experiancing withdrawl, I think only about it : D, I can't wait till this weekend..damn you microsoft..damn you mind controling games o.O
