You can't mock a film simply because it deviates from actual fact or history... 2001 is a science fiction.

As for Juni, I think we've made enough comments about her already... Time to start a new topic... like... umm... uh... "What to say to Juni if you meet her on the street"

You know, I was eating lunch just a little while ago, and this asian girl walks past where I'm sitting. I don't really think anything of it, but as soon as she passes by...I thought damn, she has an ass like Juni's! Then I imediately thought of this post. :p

Then I started to think what else was similar...she was sorta shaped like Juni too. Drool!!! I have the biggest grin on my face right now...

Look what you guys did to me!

I thought parts of 2001 were pretty good, like the opening scene. The special effects were amazing, especially for the time (1968 I believe). What ruined it for me was watching most of the movie, being intrigued about the monolith and wandering what they were going to find, then being treated to a 10 minute physcadelic trip through Jupiter, then an ending that made no sense. I think part of the reason I was so disappointed was that I just saw it for the first time a few months ago. After years and years of hearing about it and how much of a classic it was, I guess I was expecting more.

Stormtrooper Tactics 101: Okay class, repeat after me. "There he is! Blast em!" Very good.

Since this thread is sorta kinda about Juni's voiceacting, I just wanna say that I thought Ms. Hale did a pretty solid job. But what really impressed me was the "interaction" between Juni and Trent during some of the cutscenes. I don't know if both actors were recording off either in the studio, of if they pulled it off splicing together separately, but it worked pretty well.
