mission design
i played this game for a couple of hours (maybe 20 to 25) and all i did was killing (or trading). where are the escort,delivery or reconnaissance missions ? i don't mind killing pirates who want my cargo or catching a criminal for a police station one time or another, but i want to have a chance to earn money without being a murderer.
to anyone who would suggest trading an alternative:
i dont like trading, because prices are not dynamic. i did the new tokyo (get luxury consumer goods) to aim depot(hokkaido system; get cardamine) route today, no challenge, no danger; when stopped by pirates, you wait until the gate is on-line again without answering to their demands and before any cargo-scan is accomplished, you have entered the next trade lane or docked.
i repeated this until i had enough money... but it should be the (virtual-)poeple in freelancer, who should have enough drugs (and though pay less for it).
i do like the game anyway...
but i don't feel like a really 'free' lancer, when i have to either continuesly kill people or do repeatedly the same trade routes to gather money.
as i am not a native speaker please pardon all mistakes
