Oh well have been trying a few other mods like that Privateer mod (NOT BAD)
Not sure whether they have a MP server though??

scorpion is not rubbish ,
just find the right aproch angle to dock(its a challenge)
IT CAN DOCK ANYWHERE !!!

AND IT KICKS (WITH THE RIGHT WEAPENS THO)
IF U GET IT ,ITS THE BEST HEAVY FIGHTER U CAN GET.U KNOW 6 GUNS /4 TURRETS /1 MISSLE-TORP LAUNCHER/1 CRUISER LAUNCHER.
WHO NEEDS M0RE !!!??!!

it runs a multi, but not 100% tested(still some bugs in there)

then to get them easy(spoils)

Who is that guy STC-fa-Defiant ? Can you send him to prison for a while ? I was just started, still lvl 18, leaving Trenton when he just shot me for no reason. He nearly immediatly left the server after that. Is that normal ? He has played more then 17 hours, so he should now the rules

Okay, been playing WTS 1.3 in SP...

Overall: Interesting. I like the models and ships, and it's nice to be able to go back through the Sirius sector and find new things The battlegroup convoys (battleships, cruisers, and fighters in formation) are a treat to see (although you might want to tweak their AI -- I saw a cruiser in one formation smack into a planet. Ouch).

Bugs I've seen:

Persistent 'vapor trails appear ahead of you when you stop' effect. Not a massive problem, but slightly peculiar.

Busted infocards. A lot of the new stuff added is missing infocards. All the new planets use an infocard from Bretonia (the gas giant that Kensington orbits), and the bases all have the Suffolk's infocard.

The Nomads that spawn in the new and unlocked systems (Z'ha'dum, Omicron Major) are using the older Nomad stats; that is, they're outfitted to fight Anubises, not Titans. Not sure if this is an actual bug or not.

Bribe offers at bases seem to be missing names sometimes (ex: 'You should know that , , and the Xenos will look down on our little transaction').

Odd mission offers; I got an offer on Crete to go fight the LSF. Very odd.

Voiceover quirk: 'Roger that, your request is granted; proceed one'. Jarring, but not nearly as weird as 'Freelancer alpha one-dash-one, this is (silence). Everything's a go for launch. Good flying!'.

I asked him yesterday to tell another player s.th. cause i had to go...I said: Give me 1 mil and I´ll do that. I then explained him what I think of kids like him and offers like that...well...he has to work on his language...bad words...

Just look for -=EL=- when you´re on, and i´ll shoot him for ya...he wanted to fight and kill me yesterday with his "krew" but I unfortunately had to go. So I´m sure he won´t mind me killing him and his "krew" ;o))

I was wondering if there was a way for players to purchase Borg ships within the game? They do not appear through ioncross server op.
We've just started running this mod on our server. It appears to be very stable.
We would like to welcome any and all players to come and give our server a try.

hi all,

well i'm working on the next version of WTS and hope i will have a new release at the end of May (hope so ). So far its not planned that the Borg ships buyable. Lots of things found and got commited by the player community which should be fixed. At the moment i'm nearly ready with the rescripting of the ships with my shipscripter so the unbalance of some ships will be reduced.

What comes next:
- lots of the ships will appear within factions like Xenos, Rouges, Gaian and other of the bad equiped pirates so that they are increased in strenght
- they will also be leveled up in pilots who fly their ships that it is much harder to get out of NY and pass the other sectors
- that the Borgs get friendly so fast will be reduced to a level so that you must shoot lots of good boys to get neutral with them
- player wipeout will be done then too, same chance for everyone at start
- in system extrem profitable traderoutes will be wiped

so far status report ends

here's an interesting problem...
i downloaded the mod, ran it, and had no problems other than not being able to see the player's ships. after a while, i noticed it was the same with all the new ships. i can target and scan them, and the leading dot still shows up, but all i could see was engine trails and in some cases, a turret or two.
i started on the wts/cyborg server, and talked to cyborg in-game. he suggested i reinstall fl, flmm, sdk, and the mod. i did just that, rebooting after each install. i went back onto the server, and had the same problem. i went onto a different wts server (can't remember the name right now), and got the same deal...
...any ideas?
