FIX: for game stability, some sound errors, and loading spee

Well i fixed the tau-31 problem i was having. after several re-installs into
m.s. x.p. - still not working -- i put windows M.E. back on and now it
works ??? dont ask me why though. I am currently playing in 1600x1200
everything maxed with no problems and no lag, once a big cache is set up.

---- Note, Im not suggesting anyone change O.S. i didnt do it for the game
i was having other problems with x.p. . , the authentication program
became corrupt and i didnt feel like spending hours on the phone wih m.s.

---- also i think the whole authentication thing SU%^&...

every thing seems to be the same, it did not fix my 2 problems:

1) games stcuk when I am using noraml quality graphic in the game options ( specialy when its 100k+ mission)

2) I can not see the wreckege symbols (RED X) on the navmap.

Got a big problem and i dont know why !
when i want to launch freelancer the game pushes me back to the windows area and is minimized in the system tray.... can anybody explain me why ??? i think my (dont know the word) TV for the computer is a bit too small for 1024*860, can anyone tell me how to launch freelancer in 800*600 ??
