Help with Auto-dock!

Can anyone tell me how to disable the "auto-dock" feature? I'm refering to the ships instant docking within a certain distance from stations/planets.

I don't believe there is a way to do this; this feature is part of the mod, and many FL vets prefer it to the eternal-docking of before. Bear in mind that it was included because some ships (like capital ships and very large freighters) simply would not be able to fit through a standard dockring.
Thsis has been asked many times before, and I think Michael Dan has replied that there's not really a way to do it. Check on the RebalanceMod.com forums; I'm pretty sure I remember seeing a similar question, and someone had an answer about how you might restore the orginal/eternal docking methods.
