Next generation 1.56 Constantly crashes

This version has to be the 'crashiest' version I've played yet.

Crashes entering a trade lane, crashes when you level up, crashes constantly.

I had to completely fly around a trade lane and land on planet Leeds, save, and then continue. If I even attempted to go into a trade lane...CRASH.

Now I get a little further in the game and it's crashing again.
