Freelancer INI Explorer 1.0: Need Testers...

http://www.ud.dohgames.com/TheJkWhoSaysNi/FLIX.zip

I just sent this to BP and he says that for him it crashes when he tries to open a file.

It works fine on both my PC's

Could a few people please test it and report back with whether it worked and the operating system they are using.

Thanks.

Changes in this version:

1.0
-You can now open any number of files at a time. Each file opens in
its own tab so you can quickly edit multiple files.
-You can now specify the background colours.
-You can set the font size, face, style and colour.
-Your Colour/Font settings will be remembered.
-Fixed bug if file started with a blank line the program would crash
while trying to open it.
-Fixed bug where some folders or files in the tree view would
randomly become "Freelancer\DATA".

Windows XP Professional build 2600 w/SP1 and Advanced Networking for SP1.

Works okay. Doesn't save background and font unless I close with the X in the upper right, if I choose File\Exit, then no settings are saved.

Opens multiple files, saves, etc.

Save dialog with no files open results in:
"Access violation at address 00462A98 in module 'FreelancerIniExplorer.exe'. Read of address 00000198."

Close dialog with no files open results in"
"Access violation at address 0048C0D0 in module 'FreelancerIniExplorer.exe'. Read of address 00000000."

I do find it a mite annoying though that it's asking me if I wish to save a file I've opened, but not changed, upon closing it at the tab.

Also, I note that it comes with Bini.exe.....is it's presence absolutely vital for operations? I always install SDK 1.3 so I see no need for it.

Also, for modders, it might help if one could specify a "working" directory where either A: it can open files from (if one installed the SDK a second time somewhere else) or B: specify a working directory for the purposes of the Save feature saving there automatically instead of saving over an original Freelancer file.

Otherwise, fairly handy it is. Does it perchance use uni-code?

Last edit, promise. :-)
