Tutorials?

I want to mod my Freelancer. I know it can be done by editing ini files, but it seems so ... hard? Any tutorials around? Tools? For editing ships, factions, planets, stations, and whatever else?

What are you searching for Tutorials i know many for editing Ini files but they won't be useful for you because they are in German Language.
For Editing Ships Design you need Special Modelling Tools like Milkshape.

Editing the models...
difficult, but it can be done. A friend of mine made a model of Yuuzhan Vong vessel from Star Wars, using the Clydsedale as the base to work on, and he showed me how, but I can't remember the program you use to put the models into a format Milkshape could read...

"Aha!" he cried, as he pulled the green wire from the bomb. Damned colourblind bomb disposal people.
