no acceleration allowed

After a hiatus I just reinstalled my copy of Starlancer. The problem is I cannot get the accelleration keys (or decelleration for that matter) to work. I have the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro USB Joystick hooked up and the Microsoft Internet Keyboard. I also cannot get the keys to work no matter where I rebind them to. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
