Crash to desktop on mission 22
When killing (I believe) a certain fighter in mission 22 (after destroying the factory doors, so the reapers can harvest their containers), the game crashes to desktop. It happened 10 times, so it was not an accident. The fighter is not a leader or anything special... it's not even the last one standing, to say that maybe a scripted sequence is executing. I don't know if it is one specific fighter, I cannot tell.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, with no result.
I do not believe it to be a driver/hardware related problem, since until this moment is running just fine.
I tried to use the cheat code to get to mission 23, but when pressing ctrl+enter to go to briefing, I also get a crash to desktop.
The system is a IBM Thinkpad T40, Centrino 1.3GHz, 512 DDRAM, Radeon 7500 Mobility with 32 (dedicated not shared) RAM, WindowsXP Pro SP1
I know what MS support would say: it was not tested on laptops therefore blahblah... This is not an answer, because it's just avoiding to tell that they do not have the slightest idea, and they know it's not hardware/drivers.
Anyone encountered something similar or has any idea of fixing it? Right now I cannot install it somewhere else, nor replace the disk (to see if it's corrupted disk).
Thanks
