seen the files for it but no shiparch.ini,good.ini or market_ships.ini
how would it be possible to mod the game files to do this
(needed for my mod making experiment)

Thats because it was already in the game, they just added it to the market using some xml code on FLMM.

yeah, the guys just added the other needed files:
freelancer was rushed, lots of stuff like starblazer have been found, weapon coolers new hardpoints etc. Microsoft just didnt use it cause they needed to make some holiday. (this makes freelancer a good canidate for a real expansion or freelancer 2
