How do you make working jumpgates and jumpholes in FL Explor

Hi, i've just start to use FL Explorer to make some systems, i get all of it done but it took me a while to make a jump zone thingy but it does't have a jumpgate or jumphole in it, plus when i checked other systems their jumphole zone is a blue cirlce while mine is red.
Plz could somebody help me out with this in simple easy to understand steps as my brain hasn't been working lately.

The red circle you added was probably an ambient population zone for jumpgate traffic. To add a jumpgate/jumphole, you need to do the following:

1) Double click on the previously existing system you want the jumpgate/hole in
2) Right click on the spot where you want the jumpgate/hole.
3) Select jumphole or jumpgate.
4) When bounced back to the navigation window, double click on the new system and repeat steps 2 & 3.

Be warned, this faeture is a little buggy and the editor may crashe when you attempt to add jumpgates/holes. Keep trying, eventually it will work, but you may need to reboot your computer to get it to go.

I put the "fun" into "dysfunctional."

ok thanks hopefully i will get this to work, if not i keep trying to make the jumpgate as you hav said.

When i put in a jumphole it doesn't "jump back" or anything.
It really crap because i can only put link to the same system.

i figured this out you hav to double click a blank spot in the system (like how you got into the jump gate thingy) to get out the goto where you want it.

But i got it working without it crashing FLexplorer, but when i got to my system (i tryed to make sol, really really big system) and went to look at the map the game crashed went into windows and somehow it deleted my system mod, if anybody knows how it did that or how to stop it doing that plz tell me.

right i have finished my new system with no problem to the jumpgates, but there are problems with the system, if anyone would like to try my system its here:

bewarned as it can bugger up your game now and again, plus the mod doesn't like other mods so to try it switch most of your mods off exspecially the other system mods.

Plus i almost forgot to tell you that you need both winrar and winzip to unzip it cuz i used both to keep the size down.
