What kind of modding are you looking into doing????

Tell me please, if "Freelancer isn't very moddable" (your words) where have all the mods in the down load section come from?

You might better take a look at Reynands BIG mod, or Giskards rebalance mod (only to mention a couple) before you start making wild statements.

To answer your question...you might look in the "Modding Utilities" section of this forum.

It wasnt shipped mod-friendly.
I'll go check out the utilities. I already have several of them, but I seem to lack something required to make them run??

i tihnk what he meant is that modding is needed to be done manualy
unlike some games i have played they have a built in charicter, map etc maker
which you only need to draw out the graphics and it'll code it automatically.
since no1 has answered my thread i will ask on this one since questions are being asked
What do i need to make or edit or make non-playable ships playable, where do i get this, and if it not for download or free, how much isit?

You may be missing a visual basic file try installing
File name: BiniQDU 1.448,99 Kb I'm not sure (my memory isnt what it use to be) but this version may have the vbrun file included in the program. If your still confused post it here someone will give you the answer.
