Ok guys Ive looked through the forums for this info,please help

1.Is there any way to "skin" the ships eg cheande colour,if so What program do I need.

2.What program Do I need to make a new ship from scratch.

Thats the pushstart I need.

To change skins you must have the utf editor (look in the download section) to manually edit the MAT files... search the forums for a Thread named "Milkshape CMP export" or similiar, you should find out how to skin.
To make new ships you need Milkshape (or 3d studio) AND the cmp plugin (download section)... the thread I mentioned explains all... good luck!
