corrupted .ini files

where can i get new .ini files i have currupted them or please don't tell me i have to reinstall the game.

I always backup my freelancer directory before I do any modding but for some reason when I corrupt my INI files simply going to the backup files rarely works. I usually have to reinstall, after a full uninstall, I know you don't wanna hear that but that's what I have to do to fix the problem.
