Good news is - I got it to work, bad news is - there were some mistakes in the original code.
the right square bracket wasn't included 'cause ya can't get it in a post, miss-spellings, and other minor stuff...
Also, I've noticed that no matter what you do in shiparch.ini, there are no shields... wondering why, I went and looked at the CMP file - Ah ha! No shields defined.. wonder if that could have something to do with it?? <G>
Anyway, got the ship outta dry dock and into space. Set cargo size to 10000 for starters, set battery limit to 0, (no shields, why carry them!) and nanobots to 200. Made almost a 1M$ in 6 runs.. <G> had 8 corsairs pounding on me at one time and had to hit the nanobots only once... guess it IS hard to stop a train! <G>
Handling as I expected - like a freight train! Gun/Turrets are pretty much useless - better to just keep on truckin than try to get a shot or two off...
So why did I post? Anyone got any improvment ideas ??
Off to try and get some other ships in .. Heavy Lifters, Transports, (gonna have to see about adding people as a commodity??), miners, etc...
