Making Mods ???? How To??????

How do people make mods????? i have downloaded some stuff but im having trouble using it there was mod made by a 10 year old so i should be able to do it does anyone care to tell me please (if i learn how to make mods i will make so good mods...)

Literaly, read through the things posted in the tuteral forum and you will have a good part of what you need. There are most if not all the tools needed in Gen edit and in Editing utilitys forum. There is also now a forum for the 3D modeling part as well. It will take a bit of reading, but there is much here you can learn. Try different areas from the modle of a ship to just modding and existing one and its abilities. Enjoy.
