Evo mod 1.28- Such an error

I have encountered this error while playing. I was in the escape from leeds mission above planet leed with the agents came. I shot until one of them with hit in his hull. As it came to about half, he used his cloaking device, dissapeared and then returned with full shield. ?????????

We Will fight on the planets!
We will fight in the fields and in the belts!
We will fight in the galaxies!
WE SHELL NEVER SERRENDER!!!

That is soooooooooo not an error - they also use shield bats etc etc.
