I downloaded the editor earlier today, and have had nothing but trouble with it.

First it would refuse to find the save games, which I finally solved. But then the thing would refuse to open the files... Then when I found the thread that mentioned a newer version that was made for SP games, I tried that one.

Now I get "Run TIme error '76': Path not found"

In other news: Why is there no search feature? The threads are ten and twenty pages long, the titles are misleading at best, and the subjects aren't even in anything near the right forums (mod requests in the mod announcements for example). [/rant

Good luck! i`ve been posting again and again about changing Trent character and altering the ship in rear view (making it vanish). But I can`t get a single answer. It seems people are here, but everyone simply hates my questions for some reason. I truly feel like a loner on this forum. (Double rant).

The IONCROSS Freelancer Character Editor mk.V works for editing singleplayer games .... I know that for a fact because I use it all the time. Just look at the screenshots on the download page.
The IONCROSS Freelancer Server Operator mk.III.1 works well for editing multiplayer games....

Both utilities allow you to edit in, the ship you want to use, power plant, engine, shield, forward hard points, turrets, equipment, lights, cargo, location, factions AND the amount of money you have

Try uninstalling and reinstalling... and read what it says on the screen when the utilities are started....

If you still cant figure it out

we can try again. Post your problems again...
