my mods wont work

I was wondeirng if someone could help me.
Whenever I try and install a large mod, like the massive add-on or the APS ship pack, it always gives me an error that it couldnt find a section in an ini file.

also some other mods will work, but no system names, map info, or ship info comes up at all.

thirdly can you use a non moded save game with a mod so you dont have to start from the beginning, or do you always have to start from scratch with a new mod?

I have tried flmm 1.2 and 1.2 beta 7 and still get the same problems

ask the creators of the mod, they might give you answers.

It seems like your original FL ini files have been changed. Load FLMM and do "Tools/Restore Backups", and if that doesn't help re-install Freelancer.

Sometimes a saved game is compatible, sometimes it is not. If you believe it is, you can manually move your saved games to the correct folder, so they show up in Freelancer. Read FLMM's FAQ for more information.

i have a problem i try to initiate the freeworlds mod and it says i'm missing the constants.ini fil in the original freelanceer dir, and i've done SEVERAL re-installs of the game and its still missing it, is there any way to rectify this?

without uninstalling as i will delete several mp saves

Load FLMM, go to Options/Choose Freelancer Directory, and make sure that it's pointing to the correct Freelancer directory.
