Okay.....nobody seems to know wats going on with the homeworld ships mod but now other mods are doing it too! (eg: serious siris and the no story mod)

CAN SUMBODY PLEASE TELL ME WAT THE **** IS GOING ON!!!???

Uhhhhhhhh........you need to specify what the problem is first. Is it crashing? Freezing up? What exactly??????? If you have more than one mod installed, they might be conflicting. For future reference, if you have a problem, tell us what it does, where it does it, and so on. List as much information as you possibly can, so we can help!

it says its a test and nothing was changed apart from being commpresed

This happens when installing the mod? give more details, or walk through everything from the point of installing it to the point where it crashes..

it installs fine but it says its a test and nothing was changed apart from being compressed WHEN I TRY TO ACTIVATE A MOD (****ing hell its spread to every mod!)

Ok, Ill see what I can find out for you. It may just be an option within Freelancer Mod Manager that you need to change, but I need to research it a bit. Ill get back to you as soon as possible!

hey guys,

i think this problem is sometimes caused by some of the freelancer files being set to "read only". id check the ini files to make sure this hasent happened.

if the worst comes to the worst freelancer can be installed over the top of itself with no problems (that ive encountered anyway) in about 5 minutes.

It took me a while but all of my mods were read-only it took me sooooooooo long to do it! (I have virtuly every mod)

oooooooooooooook, every few minutes the mods change to read-only.....sumthing really wierd is going on here.

Yikes! sounds like things are pretty messed up with your freelancer directory. you might just want to delete your freelancer directory, re-install the game, and try out one mod at a time. Using too many at once can really mess things up....

Over half my mods are HOMEMADE though!

I'm also making a completely new fl mod......Freelancer, The Forgetten souls, i'll tell u 1 thing about.....there is a Dom-Kavosh battleship in front of manhattan!
