Serious Sirius 1.45 crash to desktop

I am using the Serious Sirius 1.45 mod, and during mission 1, when I am in the trade lane escorting the transport convoy between Ft. Bush and Pittsburgh, the game crashes to the Windows XP desktop. What can I do about this?
