How to Fix Serious Sirius v1.4

I had do some last minute modification and forgot to test it, sorry. The game didn't like the fact that Artifacts weren't illegal in Kusari. To fix delete: 'DATA\MISSIONS\fraction_prop.ini'.

BlazeMe. Send in the mod when you get done fixing it so the old version can be replaced.

Oh, ok.

There is another crash in mission 1. When you are escorting the 2 transports to Pittsburg, and the pirates are supposed to interrupt your jump, the game crashes. Blaze, did you modify the mission triggers at all in mission one? I know several other people are having this problem as well....

I replaced the M101a.ini (mission one file) with the original, but still the crash occurrs. This leads me to believe that the crash is originating from changes made to the Liberty Rogues, as they are the ones who pull you out of the trade lane.. at least I think.. need to investigate further!

Huzzah! I found what crashes mission one!!!!!! Its the prisoners loaded on the pirate ships. Go into loadouts.ini, open up the search box and type in 01A
keep clicking search till it comes to the entry for liberty rogues. At the bottom of that entry it should say something about cargo=prisoners,1. Delete this... yer good to go then..

Or search for this line:

"nickname = MSN01a_Liberty_Rogue" in the DATA/SHIPS/loadouts.ini

Is it just in mission 1a's Libery Rogue ships that the "cargo = prisoners, 1" needs to be removed? Mission 1b also has this. I'd test it myself, but hopefully someone else has progressed to at least 1b with this mod. =)

Thanks,

Yes, you need to remove the line from the loadouts.ini file that says cargo=prisoners,1 in it. This means from EVERY ENTRY IN THE FILE. This also must be done for Serious Sirius 1.45. The game still crashes even though its a newer version.....

Hey

I´ve come to the second part of the mission to Willard station where you are defending them against rheinlanders. When I kill the rheinland bombers my game crashes. Now I really like this mod and would like to continue the story. Can you help me by any chance?

Thanks

Problem with your mod Sirus 1.45. In the readme it says that it skips the intro movies and yet I try playing it with storyline it does not skip the intro movies. You got a newer version?

Thx.

Found the problem with Mission 3 (Willard Station) You need to open up loadouts.ini which is located in the freelancer\data\ships directory. Find the entry for MSN03_Nomad_Rheinland_Bomber

these two lines must be deleted:

equip = torpedo01_mark01, HpTorpedo01
cargo = torpedo01_mark01_ammo, 2

for some reason, it did not like the fact the bombers had torpedos. Anyways, hope this works for everyone else with the problem.

Thx Strider.. I hope there aren´t any more problems =)

I found the game crashes again when you fight rhineland fighters in later missions. To fix all related crashes, all torpedo loadouts for rhineland fighters must be deleted from loadouts.ini
this means

equip = torpedo01_mark01, HpTorpedo01
cargo = torpedo01_mark01_ammo, 2

must be deleted from any rhineland entry within loadouts.ini
Look for entries that have "rh_ " in them. Those will be rhineland ships
