Stable Mod required

I have a friend who owns a Lan and he requires a mod for freelancer that has new ships, guns and easy to install. On multiple PC's. The prices must not be stupid and the weapons must not make the game too easy. We wish to make the game more difficult and basically enlarge the game.

Can anybody help me?

I tried Babylon 5 Version 3 and we found there where problems with stupid guns like the phaser and some ships where too cheap.

The game must be basically the same with new ships & guns.

Well...I know that you can change the prices of the guns and weaps on your own in the DATA\Equipment\weapon_good.ini file. You might want to use the BiniQDU utility to help make sense of the boxes and messed up text...

I am aware that you can change the prices of the weapons but I don't know how to change the prices of the ships.

I also have figured out how to change and enter the location of the new ships.

But we need a package with the prices of guns & Ships balanced. And also lots of new ships in the game.

Well, it seems quite a few ppl are fond of "overpowered" weapons :p

If you're looking for a challenge try Micheal Dan's Rebalanced mod. Been following it for quite some time, it's pretty good. I like it mostly for the souped-up difficulty and the wider range of equipment (engine upgrades etc). Cruiser and battleship encounters also make fights more interesting.
