Sorry, false forum, but I need your attention-MODs..

I have the FLMM and everytme i try to activate a mod, the files freelancer.ini goods.ini ....... =ACCESS DENIED because they are write-protected. Ok, I turn this protection for these few files off, click accept then OK..... the write-protection is disabled. Then i re-enter the folder- then these files are again write-protected!
what can i do to really disable the protection??

Well, it sounds like you just might have a warez copy since stuff burned to a CDR is write-protected by default. If that's the case, then I mock you.

If you have a legit copy, then I suggest you right-click your Freelancer folder and uncheck the "read-only" box, then when it asks you, make sure it applies to the folder and all subfolders.

No, I have surely no warez copy of this game- I bought it for 70Euro at the first day I could..... thanks Ill try that

There must be smething with the system config for the freelancer folder.....
Ok it worked for a minute and i could initialize a mod who desnt work ..... now there are these files again protected also if i turn it out....

Are you using Windows 2000 or XP pro? If so your files may be inheriting their properties from the folder above and will probably not respond to changes. Just a thought
