Here SysOps can list their MultiPlayer server info and users can send feedback to their SysOps. Or just talk about the MultiPlayer servers they play on. This is not about MultiPlayer in general - please use the MultiPlayer Forum for that!

how do i choose:

*how much money a player starts with?
*What kind of ship a player starts with?
*Where a player starts?

i would be truly gratefull if you could answer ANY of these questions!

edit the mpnewcharacter.fl file in the exe folder

i can find the file but it says i need to use the internet to locate this file

It's a plain text file. You can use notepad to edit it- just remember to remove the .txt that notepad always wants to put at the end of a file.

Do you have the SDK installed? That might be why mine is a text file.
