Just was curious( and I am with no alliance, I stand for one person, me...) and excuse me this question was probably already brought up an answered but I havn't been ready posts lately, what GOV plans to do with the taxes collected?

Also had another idea fer an event. The Monkeys In A Barrel event where we get a few ships an throw em in an airlock to battle it out. This idea is.. in my own mind still undergoing mass construction.( This won't be fer a while if at all.

Man, all these factions rising. An interesting server is getting even more interesting.

They say the taxes will be used to fund games they host and such.

Throw a bunch of ships into an airlock and let them battle it out, how would that work? Or is that also under construction or something.

Lemme juz say if anyone is confused, non of the events "I" host are associated with any kind of clan. They are merely to keep the once fluent spirit "server get together" events alive to which browclops hosted and lately I dunno what but hasn't had the time or what not. The Monekys In a Barrel event may be rather difficult to do, for I wanted to get oh so many peeps an cram them all in on dock ( the docks with the doors that ascend n descend) and let them battle it out. I did some experiments with a few individuals and are able to conclude that yer primary guns are difficult to fire,so it's gonna be a mines/torps/missiles( perhaps turrets) ordeal. Another thing, if ya'll never gotten stuck in an airlock, it's not that difficult. First, get around 6-800 k away from the airlock. Secondly, be sure that punk allowing you to dock is done speaking before you get close. And thirdly, press the esc. key right before it goes into cinematic mode. This is my routine, if any may find it annoying and difficult... try try again.The MiaB event does not have a set date yet, and the reward is not official either. More details on this will be posted, but fer now, keep yer eyez peeled fer the Last Team Standing event this coming Sunday, (12th) at noon. tell yer partner to dosey doe, so lock n load Do'h and it's gonna be held at Fp9. so let the Ravens be with you, fer now...

Taxes....tolls.....much to be decided. In Kusari, until further decided by HRE Clan council, and unless USB decides to do otherwise, 1/2 of any tax collected goes to the collector. There will be standardized rates for transit in our space. The other half will go into a pot. Depending on how fast the pot grows, and interest involved, HRE intends to host Pay-to-Play events. The collected pot, plus collected entry fees will go to pay the winners in different games (FFA, Rabbit Chase, Dueling Dromedaries, Rhino Racing, etc...). Not 100% on this, and this idea has EXPLODED all over the server. You will not be a member of the clan to participate in the event, a specified entry gate would be announced, the entry fee collected there and the site of the game given to you there. Make sense yet?

FYI - [RM Russian Mafia has declared i's intention to hunt legit clan members and the frigne raiders exist... the half of the toll you pay to a clan member in Kusari Space is protection money in our space. We guarantee your cargo and ship in our space by providing escort. The collector is responsible for you, and is on an honor system to turn in half the money. If the HRE Council finds out we have a pirate in our midst, we will deal with that as best we can...

Dunno what government official crawled up yer ass and died but the Raven will never be charged fer anything. The Raven takes the name "freelancer" seriously.The Raven will move where he wants to, when he wants to, bouncing in whatever ride he chooses to without the consent of anyone except himself...end of discussion.

Another thing, any of you trying to claim space need to sit down in time out and think about what yer saying. Freelancer space is exactly as it stands. If I am friendly with Kusari and need to go to Kusari for reasons being I am going, and nothing but the hand of god whacking my ship into certain oblivion is going to prevent that. Some of you, and I say some, are taking this clan situation to limits higher than they are capable of. I saying this now because I am a loudmouth and I had a helluvuhlot on my mind. Another thing, and this is directed to GOV and any other organizations. I am pleased by the fact people are trying to find ways to make the Browclops server...interesting...more entertaining...fun. And thats good, but... in my humble opinion yer taking this way to far, and god knows how this became such a big issue to get the Raven badmouthing which is still an enigma. I mean yer getting people looking over both shoulders, someone earlier telling me this. And in such a successful and liked server yer turning a potentially good situation into a predicted popularity killer. my advice, stop trying to gain so many members so fast, two try to keep it on the downlow until it's popularity and attention just naturally grows, (this being an example to the way the browclops server has slowly grown into one of the best.)And three, try and keep things simple for now if yer gonna try and invovle the entire Sirius Sector until they adapt to it, The Raven is always right, so don't try to fight it ...

Blah, can't get all of it out, also every organization/clan/guild, whatever take in heavy consideration that the browclops server is a max of 30 players at a time until otherwise risen. So gaining all these new members...............

now listen, this is my first post ever on this forum, and unfortunately i havent been monitoring it. i havent had time, ive only been playing, BUT......... now im on here, and to all of u who are talkin bout doin things and all, as far as GOV is concerned, i started it, with the help of TC-101. he hasnt been playing, so by natural result, i have a new #2 man. that is regulator, hes an original in it, and has done lots of organizing. he represents yes, but policy is not decided by him, its decided by the two of us discussing it then passing it by our members, we all have a voice. further, anyone wishing to challenge these policies pertaining only to our clan, feel free and pls do. i love killing ppl. (on here only of course).

as for the policing thing, I AM THE ONLY ACTIVE POLICE ON THIS SERVER. regulator has been given permission, but i havent seen him exercise it. the other members are NOT police, we are not trying to control the server. the main goal of GOV has and will be to protect and stick up for one another. usually this becomes an issue when some1 backshoots a freighter while docking, kills a storage char full of guns, etc. anyone, and i mean ANYONE in GOV who argues, defies, or challenges this will b out immediately. not that he would, but even if reg was to say something about that, he wouldnt b in. or if he wouldnt leave, i would leave with those loyal to the cause of keeping things fun and enjoyable for all.

honestly, i hesitated when reg wanted to institute some of those taxes, etc. but he and i agree, thats not the point, the point of those is role playing and fun. we wont bully, we wont start wars. anyone that does, and im speaking to [SD mostly right now, is acting outside of GOVs policy unless we have presanctioned it by member vote. i can almost guarantee that this will not happen except in the case of a cheating or similar clan. if the NEOs show up, theyre not gonna b here for long, we will fight them til we have proof of cheating, then ss the evidence, and when brow sees it, theyre gone. and as for the comments of granting admin stuff to GOV, there will b no admins given out to the general members as far as im concerned. no1 will act as admin ON BEHALF OF GOV. if some1 is given admins, they are acting as admin, not affiliated to GOV. UNDERSTOOD? so stop whining, there wont b any real power to desteroy the playing environment coming on my watch, that is exactly what GOV is about. we are about preventing harassment and unfair play against those who cant defend themselves. a) n00bs, and b) freighter/storage chars.
thats all i have for now, and i will not tolerate ppl taking things into their own hands, then calling it on behalf of GOV. if that begins to happen, SD, and HRE, u have my personal guarantee that ppl will not b a part of GOV very long. on the other hand, pls b openminded, the incident in question was all in good fun, just to promote some PvP, dont get ur bra all tangled.

Admin abilities to GOV.... bad idea. I wouldn't do it.

Whoa, let's slow this mother down, a lot of us started to play on Browclops because it's a fun server, PvP is mostly in agreed, controlled duels, or events, clan activity is at a minimum, and modding cheating and noob pking is not tolerated. I for one came to get away from the clans on Elite and the modding cheat-whores on Calgary 24/7.
I was upset when I first heard about [Gov but I set aside my misgivings to give things a chance, but in the space of a couple of days Browsclops has been turned into a big clan pie sliced up between [Gov Ar, SD, HRE who will be policing and taxing travellers in their respective systems including HRE who originally claimed that Kusari would be tax free but now says they will be collecting and half will go to the collector, that is a unacceptable policy that invites abuse. As for my paying taxes, 50-100 credits once in a while fine, but if we're talking thousands or 10s of thousands I don't fricken think so. Only 30 people are allowed on at one time, all of the recruiting that's been going on is overkill to say the least, is this server to be constantly populated with only clan members?
I would love to hear Browclops opinion of this development.
This is starting to sound like a formula for turning this server to sh*t fast.
